Lars started his management consulting career with Arthur D. Little in the Strategy and Corporate Finance practice group, where he worked predominantly for internet start-ups and technology companies. He then developed a public sector corporate advisory firm together with the former Mayor of Berlin, Mr Dietrich Stobbe.
In 2004 Lars joined Egon Zehnder International, where he led executive search, board consulting and leadership development projects on a worldwide basis. During that time Lars joined the Board of FehrAdvice & Partners, a leading Behavioral Economics Consultancy Group in Zurich. In 2012 he started his own leadership consultancy. He is the founder of LeadersforPurpose.com, an open platform to reflect the most recent leadership thinking from authors all around the globe.
He studied environmental engineering in Vienna (MSc), Business Administration and Business Informatics in Rotterdam (MBA, MBI) and Coaching for Organisation Consultants in Ashridge, UK (MSc).
IESE is a top-ranked international business school in Europe. Lars works with IESE as a Business Coach and Executive Mentor for the alumni community and participants of executive education programs. In cooperation with a team of experienced professionals, he helps IESE Alumni to define how to achieve their professional goals, to develop their careers and to strengthen their competencies.
“Zukunft.Frauen” is an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy, the Federation of Austrian Industries, and the Austrian Economic Chambers. The aim of this distinguished leadership program is to help female leaders to find their way into C-level and Board positions. In his role as a lecturer and as an expert, Lars helps his audience to understand the underlying dynamics of executive search and explains remuneration strategies.
